Ecem İspir is the Sustainability & Impact Specialist at Inua Hub, where she supports the integration of sustainability, ESG thinking, and long-term impact across the organization’s programs, partnerships, and initiatives. Her work helps Inua Hub connect its social and economic impact ambitions with broader sustainability priorities and responsible approaches to growth.

Ecem has an academic background in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University and pursued a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development and Global Governance in Madrid. Her interdisciplinary background has shaped her interest in how policy, business, institutions, and communities can work together to address complex development and sustainability challenges.

Professionally, Ecem works at EY, supporting organizations across different sectors as they navigate an evolving sustainability landscape. Her experience spans ESG reporting, sustainable finance, climate-related regulation, and sustainability strategy, with a particular focus on translating complex regulatory and technical requirements into practical approaches for organizations.

Her broader journey has exposed her to sustainability from multiple perspectives, including sustainable supply chains, corporate sustainability, environmental policy, and academia. This multidisciplinary experience informs her approach to understanding both the systemic dimensions of sustainability and their practical application within organizations and communities.

At Inua Hub, Ecem contributes to strengthening sustainability and impact thinking across the ecosystem, supporting the development of responsible programs, sustainability frameworks, impact approaches, and partnerships that create lasting social, economic, and environmental value.

She is particularly interested in connecting global sustainability thinking with locally relevant solutions and helping organizations move beyond short-term interventions toward approaches that create measurable, inclusive, and sustainable impact.
