Biography
Innocent Leonard Kisenha is the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Specialist at Inua Hub, where he supports the organization in measuring results, strengthening accountability, generating evidence, and translating program data into learning that improves decision-making and impact.
With a background in Governance and Development and an MBA in Project Management from Parul University, India, Innocent brings experience across project management, monitoring and evaluation, project appraisal, stakeholder engagement, research, and community development. His work spans public institutions, civil society, and development-focused initiatives, giving him experience working with diverse stakeholders and development contexts.
At the Public-Private Partnership Centre (PPPC) Tanzania, he supported project appraisal and development activities, including project monitoring, stakeholder consultations, technical and financial analysis, development of monitoring tools, and preparation of project documentation. His earlier experience with ActionAid Tanzania exposed him to initiatives focused on youth and girls’ empowerment, civic participation, human rights, climate justice, education, community engagement, and women’s land rights.
Innocent has also contributed to field-based research and data collection, including the Global School-based Student Health Survey (GSHS), working with schools, communities, and institutional stakeholders.
At Inua Hub, Innocent helps strengthen MEAL across the organization’s programs and initiatives by supporting results frameworks, indicators, data collection and monitoring systems, beneficiary feedback, program reporting, learning, and impact measurement. His role helps ensure that Inua Hub goes beyond delivering activities to understanding what works, what changes, for whom, and how programs can continuously improve.
He is particularly interested in using evidence, institutional collaboration, and data-informed decision-making to strengthen program effectiveness and contribute to sustainable and inclusive development.
